Week 11- DST60604 Introduction To Fashion Design
LESSON OF THE WEEK
For the class of this week, all of us continued to complete our presentation board model drawing and colouring for the whole section. For the rest of us who completed colouring last week, we will be having one-to-one consultation time with Mr. Daniel in order to show him our outcomes for our drawings, to make improvements in them, so that the overall drawing will be more appealing.
My final outcome after consultation:
MISSION OF THE WEEK
Mr. Daniel briefed us during the end of the class about our next task, which is to do a fabric board on an A3 size mounting board. Hence, we need to make bigger sample pieces of what we will be doing on our actual garments in order to paste it on the mounting board.
For my samples, as I already did a smaller version of the samples in the previous week, hence I already have experience on how I need to sew it out, which will be easier for me to complete it.
Overall experience of the week is that I feel quite relaxed, as there aren't many tasks for us to complete in this module this week, as well as next week will be a holiday; hence we can have more time to complete our samples, which can be less stressful. Moreover, I am also quite excited to look forward to learning more about the fabric board during the next class, as it will be my first time doing it, and I have no idea how to complete it. No matter how, I hope my progress for this last assignment will be smooth and have a perfect outcome.
