Week 10- DST60604 Introduction To Fashion Design

LESSON OF THE WEEK

We will continue doing our presentation drawing during both the lecture and tutorial class this week. Mr. Daniel started the class by teaching us how to colour our model with tops in mixed media such as Artline pen, coloured pencils, watercolours, and also coffee. Unexpectedly, this is my first time to see people draw their drawings by using coffee, which is also an interesting technique to learn for us.

Moreover, he also has a one-to-one consultation section for us to show him our drawings so that he can help us to improve the drawings.

MISSION OF THE WEEK

This week, we need to complete our presentation drawing. Hence, I colour my drawing by using coloured pencils, as I'm good at it compared to watercolours or digitally, in order to avoid ruining the outcome.

Overall, my experience of the week is that I learnt how to use mixed media for our presentation drawings in different kinds of materials, especially coffee. Moreover, I'm also excited for the next class, as I believe we will be starting to do our garments next week. Last but not least, I'm glad that I have a satisfactory outcome for the task this week, as I feel like I did a great job in colouring it.
