Week 3- DST60604 Introduction To Fashion Design

LESSON OF THE WEEK

During this week of lecture, practical, and tutorial classes, Mr. Daniel started the class by having all of us start presenting our inspiration proposal in front of all of the students. Hence, this can train our speaking skills and bravery. During the whole section of the presentation, I found that all of my classmates' inspiration is creative and some of it is unexpected. Hence, it allows us to learn from each other while presenting it to everyone.

Moreover, Mr. Daniel taught us how to create a creative and perfect moodboard, which is an important process for the fashion course. He taught us by demonstrating to us how we do the layout and wording. Furthermore, he also demonstrated to us the template for the design concept board, which is needed to be done by next week.

MISSION OF THE WEEK

For this week, we are all required to complete 3 moodboards and a design concept board, according to our inspiration proposal research.

Subsequently, I redo my inspiration proposal, as after the class, I feel that my proposal is not good enough, which didn't reach the expectation that I wanted. Hence, in order to have a better outcome, I did more deeper research for my topic as well as my interpretation.

This is the link for my final outcome:

Overall experience of the week is that I gain more confidence after consultation time, as I have a better and clearer target to achieve in order to complete my assignment fast and perfect. Redo is not a bad thing for me, as I believe that it can lead me to a better outcome compared to the previous one.
